Terms of Use & Rental Agreement

Terms and Conditions

By accepting your rental, you indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions below. All terms and conditions apply unless otherwise agreed in writing with Copano Media Group. Amounts listed are in USD unless otherwise stated. Stock is rented on a “first come, first served” basis, which means that inventory will be available at the time your quotes are issued. However, this does not guarantee ongoing availability of stock.Please pay your invoice within 48 hours of accepting your quote to secure your rental, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon with Copano Media Group.Full payment must be received on or prior to drop-off in order to guarantee full use of the equipment.

1. Billing and Cancellations

1.1 Please pay your invoice within 48 hours of accepting your quote to secure your rental, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon with Copano Media Group.
1.2 For bookings made more than three months in advance a 10% deposit will be payable within 48 hours, with the balance due 60 days prior to the event.
1.3 If payment is not received by the due date, Copano Media Group is not obliged to deliver the equipment and may withhold delivery of the WiFi equipment until such payment is received. Late payment may result in your order being canceled and could mean missing out on your units.

2. Postponements

2.1 If an event is postponed and our services are still needed for the later date, notice of at least 7 days prior to the reschedule event is required to maintain your reservation on the equipment.
2.2 All bookings require a minimum of 7 calendar days notice of the new start date.
2.3 In the event that less than 7 days notice is given for the new start date, expedited delivery costs may apply.
2.4 Bookings may be postponed for up to 6 months. After which the booking will be void and non-refundable.
2.5 The value of your booking will be held in credit, however annual price increases may apply, resulting in an invoice for the difference at the time of confirming the new event date.
2.6 We will endeavor to make postponements viable but this will ultimately be subject to availability, so the more time we have the better.

3. Data

3.1 Users using the unlimited unprioritized data plan must notify Copano Media Group if they reasonably believe that they will use more than one TB of data.
3.2 Domestic priority data can be purchased for $6.5/GB
3.3 International roaming data can be purchased for $7.5/GB.

4. During your rental

4.1 If someone other than yourself will be operating the unit(s), you are responsible for sharing our emails containing operating instructions, and your chosen network names and passwords with that person.
4.2 If you have any concerns or questions at all, please contact the Support line printed on every unit or at the bottom of this invoice. Our service support representatives are available around the clock to troubleshoot any problems you might encounter. They can improve network performance within minutes, provided you contact them at the time.
4.3 Network performance data is logged.
4.4 No refund can be provided for complaints lodged where no support call has been made at the time in question by you or a representative for your event.
4.5 If your unit is behind or inside something solid, or on the ground, performance will be impacted.
4.6 We don’t take responsibility for performance issues caused by misuse of the unit(s).
4.7 Results of testing are only valid for the exact site that testing was conducted and no liability will be accepted by Copano Media Group for difference in performance if the unit is deployed at another site.

5. After your rental

5.1 If a WiFi unit(s) is seven or more days late being returned, the WiFi unit(s) will be assumed lost and an invoice for the lost unit(s) will be issued.
5.2 Should the WiFi unit(s) be returned late, either an invoice for the number of delayed days will be issued, or the invoice for lost unit(s) will remain payable, whichever is lesser in value.
5.3 All accessories, such as power cables, spare batteries, additional USB modems, and cases, must be returned with the unit.

6. Lost, stolen or damaged units

6.1 You are responsible for the Copano Media Group equipment during the rental period and are liable for $4,500 per 3x 5G unit, and $12,000 per 7x 5G unit, in the event that the unit is lost, stolen or damaged by any and every cause. Please take good care of your unit(s).
6.2 If the Copano Media Group equipment is lost or damaged you will provide Copano Media Group with prompt written notice of loss or damage.
6.3 In the event of total loss or stolen equipment you will provide Copano Media Group with prompt written notice and pay Copano Media Group any outstanding balance, if applicable, plus the equipment value as stated in section 6.1 of this quote.
